Self described as ‘Melbourne’s newest vodka and Pintxos bar Naked for Satan is shaking up the bar scene with a healthy dose of creativity and style. “Naked For Satan is a Basque style Pintxos and Vodka Bar that serves Pintxos,” says Eddie Crupi.
Collection Bar Receives New Lease of Life
Popular Melbourne cocktail spot the Collection Bar has been recently purchased by Paul Fitzsimmons and Owen Westman. Both have extensive industry experience on and off-shore and speaking to Fitzsimmons in the fifth week of trading, he stated that the changeover had been seamless in general very positive. “We have finally bought our own bar and hope to make a few changes to this place,” says Fitzsimmons. “The focus, however, will remain on producing top notch cocktails. We have an outdoor section planned for summer, a Spanish garden out the back in the sun and also some updating of the décor.”

24 Moons
Opened in October, 24 Moons occupies the old site of the Alley Bar and is a collaboration between four respected and very experienced industry folk: Marcus Motteram, Simon Digby, Boris Von Rechenberg, and Michael Christadoulou (Mr Delicious, Mr Music, Mr Creative and Mr Hospitality respectively). Normally we would list all their relative experience but you’ll have to wait for January’s Bar Profile for that; rest assure that 24 Moons is a meeting of the minds between some serious bar nerds.
