Team USA Take Out 42 Below Cocktail World Cup
From more than two thousand bartenders around the world, Saturday saw the Team USA trio of Mark Stoddard, Todd Thrasher and Sean Hoard emerged as the clear winners in the sixth 42 Below Cocktail World Cup.
Seamstress Stitched Together Under New Management
As of today the multi-award winning Seamstress and SweatShop is under new management. Tally Konstas is the new sole proprietor of the acclaimed venue which he is adding to his portfolio that already includes Tony Starr’s Kitten Club and The Apartment.

There’s just a week left of our 30 Bars in 30 Days odyssey, and as the journey approaches its end, I’m thinking our final lists will be as much about the bars we didn’t visit as the ones we managed to reach. 30 is a fraction of the bars this city has to offer, and as we hit the home straight, we keep hearing of new places popping up, exciting developments at old favourites and enough bar action to keep us going - well, all the way through to next March.

Inner Circle Green Dot Named ‘Spirit of the Year’
Inner Circle Rum Green Dot was recently named ‘Spirit of the Year’ at the 2010 World-Spirits Awards held in Klagenfurt, Austria. 65 participants from 24 nations took part in the festival with spirits including Cognac, Scotch, Gin and rum.
