Kirin acquires Lion Nathan

Kirin acquires Lion Nathan

Japanese brewing giant Kirin was yesterday (27 April) given the all clear by the Lion Nathan board to purchase Lion Nathan for $12.22 per share (for the 54 per cent of shares Kirin does not already own). The deal values the brewing giant at $6.5 billion.
