Adelaide bar, Cushdy, is to launch a Rum Club that will encourage hospitality staff and members of the public to learn more about the booming spirit category.

Based on the original concept created by Angus Winchester at London’s Trailer Happiness and following on from the success of the Melbourne Rum Club, held at Golden Monkey, the club allows patrons to pay $20 for membership, giving them access to 35 house rums. The sampling of all 35 unlocks ‘Tiki God’ status and a further selection of premium and hard to find rums.

The first meeting of the Adelaide Rum Club will be hosted by James France of Vanguard Luxury Brands, who will be speaking to members about Flor de Cana rum.
